H.O.P.E.’s Operations Division (OD) seeks individuals to assess the membership, capabilities, and methodologies of illicit wildlife trafficking networks. Wildlife Trafficking Analysts review a diverse suite of information in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of issues in illicit wildlife trafficking and produce a range of products, including briefings and written papers, for use by H.O.P.E.’s senior leadership, country managers and on occasion, non-governmental, commercial and governmental partners.

Minimum requirements: A bachelor’s or advanced degree in international affairs, criminology, national security studies or related area. The most competitive candidates will possess exceptional analytical skills, relevant regional language and cultural expertise, the ability to think creatively and produce under tight deadlines, excellent interpersonal skills and a high sense of professionalism, .

  • Two writing samples, no longer than three (3), single spaced pages. The first should display technical competency in your area of expertise.  The second should demonstrates the applicants ability to clearly convey complex factors so that they can be utilized in an operational context.
